CALLING FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST IN BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS OF WILDCARE TASMANIA
Are you looking for a fresh leadership opportunity? Do you have the skills, experience, philosophical connection and time to commit to guiding an established not for profit charity making a genuine
difference to wild Tasmanian places?
Wildcare is seeking expressions of interest for 5 Board positions, for 2 year terms. Elections will be held at the Annual General Meeting on 21st March (AGM details here).
Wildcare is a powerhouse team of volunteers, financial donors and staff supporting the care and conservation of Tasmania’s wild places. Wildcare offers some of the most genuinely wild volunteering and benefactor opportunities in Tasmania.
People who are attracted by Wildcare’s purpose around volunteering and raising funds to support Tasmania’s wild places and who have any of the following skills are encouraged to apply:
Corporate governance
Growing revenue and fundraising
Strategic partnership development
Community engagement
Environmental volunteer management/experience
Current Board members are eligible to apply for reappointment. All positions are voluntary.
Location: The Wildcare Board holds 4 ordinary meetings per year split between Hobart and Launceston, in addition to an Annual General Meeting. Technology will be used to support remote attendance where possible.
