Pine Invaders
Marriotts Falls Track
At one stage, the prospects of a fine day were not looking good, but then changed to fine. And it did start that way, but by lunch time light showers moved through. Radiata pines shooting up within the river reserve at the start of the track were our first task along with trimming back some vigorous natives beside the track. After that it was more trimming, drain and track maintenance and removing some overhanging limbs

Following lunch, we walked the remainder of the track to Marriotts Falls, which has some quite muddy sections in the forest. No trimming was required but some fallen trees were cut and removed off the path.
