Wildcare AGM via ZOOM
Wildcare is adapting to the rapid changes brought about by COVID-19 and we intend to stay connected with you all whilst practicing 'physical distancing'. To this end, the 2020 Wildcare Annual General Meeting will be held remotely – via ZOOM and we will not be proceeding with the in-person AGM meeting at Mather's House.
The Zoom Call will open at 9:45am so there is time for you to check that your video and audio are working before the meeting gets underway at 10am. The meeting will conclude at 11am.
Please register in advance for this meeting by clicking THIS LINK.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting. Joining a Zoom call is easy. If you don't have the Zoom App, no problem – just follow the prompts to download zoom when you join the meeting. You can join from your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop and can choose to just use audio, or audio and video.
The purpose of an AGM is to give members a report on the Wildcare's activities and finances for the previous year, to allow time for members to ask questions, and to elect 5 members of Wildcare's Board.
At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
• find out about Wildcare’s operations and finances
• ask questions or speak about any items on the agenda
• vote on any resolutions proposed.
Members will be asked to vote to:
• accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting
• accept the Chair’s and auditor’s report
• accept the annual financial statements
• appoint an auditor for 2021
• elect 5 Wildcare Board membership positions.
