Sea Spurging Narawntapu
The third of four working bees focussing on Sea Spurge removal at Narawntapu National Park.
The Wildcare Friends of Pitt Water-Oreilton Lagoon Group are invited to meet at Penna Beach at 9:30 am Sunday 15th March for a shoreline Clean-up event. It is expected to be a low tide and we will be able walk around the shore firstly to the Midway Point side of Penna Beach and then towards Shark Point. There are a couple of gullies behind the shore that we might be able to scour as well.
This event is also registered as a Clean-up Australia Everyday event. We have bags, 10 pairs gloves, buckets and sharps container.
We will try to separate intact bottles and cans for recycling. The remainder we will deposit at a pick up point for collection by the Sorell Council that week.
We will follow up with a picnic lunch on the verandah.
This event is open to Wildcare members. Please login to register or, we warmly welcome you to Join Wildcare if you are visiting our site. For help with logging in or joining Wildcare please contact our friendly team at memberservices@wildcaretas.org.au or ph 0361654230.

Hopefully the winter weather has been kind to the PCT and the days will be pleasant for a working bee.
