FRIENDS OF DEAL, MAATSUYKER AND TASMAN ISLANDS – WILDCARE INC FUNDRAISER RAFFLE
Raffle tickets (in books of 10 tickets) are now available for the Friends of Deal, Maatsuyker and Tasman Islands – Wildcare Inc. major fundraising raffle. All funds raised will support the ongoing restoration and conservation of the natural and built heritage of Deal, Maatsuyker and Tasman Islands and their historic lighthouse stations.
Please support our group by selling tickets – or buy some for yourself – or even pop some tickets into Christmas presents – there are four fabulous prizes.
1st Prize – Helicopter Trip and Lighthouse Tour Tasman Island for 2. Value $800.
2nd Prize – Peppermint Bay Cruise for 2 in the Captain’s Upper Deck with lunch supplied (value $256); Tasmanian Gourmet Basket, including Lark Distillery Single Malt Whisky, Tasmanian wine and produce (value $244); and John Ibbotson’s book Lighthouses of Australia – Images from the End of an Era (value $50). Total value – $550
3rd Prize – 3 Hour Bruny Island or Tasman Island Wilderness Cruise on Pennicott Wilderness Journeys. Two Adult tickets value $250.
4th Prize – Cider Tasting and Lunch at Willie Smith’s Apple Shed Value $50.
Cost: $2 per ticket or $20.00 for book of 10 tickets.
Drawn: 3.00 pm Monday 9 February 2015 at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, Hobart.
Please let us know how many books you would like, with your mailing address and phone number. Please either return the stubs by mail to Bob Tyson, 546 Huon Road, South Hobart, 7004, direct deposit the proceeds as per details below, or drop stubs and cash to the Friends of Deal Island stall at the Wooden Boat Festival by Monday morning 9 February at the latest.
If you wish to purchase your tickets up front please Direct Deposit correct amount ($20 per book of 10 tickets) to; Account name : Wildcare Inc., BSB 037001: Account 447364: and include your name and reference “Deal raffle” in the details.
Please then email friendsofdealisland@gmail.com to advise how many books of tickets you have purchased and whether you prefer to receive your proof of purchase as hardcopy tickets in the mail (provide your postal address) or by email as e-tickets. Please also provide phone contact so we can let you know if you are a prize winner. We will fill in the tickets stubs for you – just provide names and number of tickets for each name.
