Three of Wildcare’s Island Groups are combining forces to set up a major fundraiser to support conservation work on Tasman, Maatsuyker and Deal Islands. You can support by purchasing a book of 10 raffle tickets and be in with a chance to win some great prizes!
The raffle will be drawn at the Australian Wooden Boat Festival where the groups will be hosting a combined stall. (It’s rumoured that a lighthouse keeper will be drawing the raffle at 3pm on the last day).
Exhibiting at the AWNBF is a major fundraising opportunity for Friends of Tasman Island, Friends of Deal Island and Friends of Maatsuyker Island and a great opportunity to promote Wildcare and attract new members and potential volunteers.
The Festival is held on Hobart’s waterfront and runs from 10-13 February. Look out for the Wildcare marquee and a life sized cardboard lighthouse keeper with a cut out for your face and a great photo opportunity for kids and adults!
