International Students – maybe stranded and far from family – but feeling very much at home
A new collaboration between the University of Tasmania, the Department of Education, Barrys Bus Charter and Wildcare enabled this great day out for 14 international students in Hobart. Due to COVID, these senior high school students from Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam and Hong Kong haven’t been able to go go home this Christmas to see their families. Luckily for them they had a great day out, made some new friends and got to explore this beautiful part of Tasmania – Mt Field National Park. Thanks to Mathew, Danni, Yumi and T.J. for all the work pulling this together.
