THREATENED PLANTS TRAIL AT THE ROYAL TASMANIAN BOTANIC GARDENS
The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens will have a Threatened Plants trail running at the Gardens from Tuesday 3rd – Tuesday 10th September and guided tours twice daily at 11am and 1pm on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September to increase general knowledge about Tassie’s threatened plants, as well as informing visitors about the critical work that the Tasmanian Seed Conservation Centre (which is based at the Botanical Gardens) is doing to conserve them. There will be plants (non-threatened) for sale near the main entrance specifically chosen for increasing habitat and biodiversity within a garden e.g. bee/bird-attracting, frog friendly, etc
